Privacy Policy

Biiblo (Biiblo Technologies Ltd., "Biiblo", "we", "us") is a platform that helps freelance developers and small agencies run their business — finding leads, sending outreach, signing contracts, and delivering client work. We're based in Accra, Ghana. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have.

This policy applies to everyone who uses Biiblo — developers/agency owners with accounts ("users"), and the businesses or clients those users interact with through the platform (e.g. contract signing, public portfolio contact forms).

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile photo. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

Business data you provide. Information you enter or import to run your agency: leads (business names, contact details, notes), service packages and pricing, contracts, projects, portfolio items, and testimonials. This is your data — we store it to provide the service.

Connected accounts. If you choose to connect your Gmail account to send outreach emails, or sign in with Google, we receive limited information from Google as described in Section 3 below.

Payment information. Purchases (credit top-ups, Pro unlock) are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number — only high-level transaction details (amount, status, date).

Usage and device data. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and we log basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to keep the service running reliably.

Information from third parties you use us to look up. When you search for or import leads, we retrieve public business information (name, address, rating, website, hours) from services like Google Places, and may extract publicly listed contact emails from a business's own public website.

Biiblo integrates with Google in two ways, and we only ever request the minimum access each feature needs:

• Sign in with Google: requests your basic profile (name, email, profile photo) to create and log you into your Biiblo account.
• Connect Gmail (optional): requests the gmail.send scope only, so Biiblo can send outreach emails to your leads on your behalf, using your own Gmail address as the sender. We do not request, and this feature cannot be used to obtain, access to read, search, or modify your inbox, contacts, or any other Gmail or Google Workspace data.

How Gmail data is used, stored, and shared: When you connect Gmail, we store an encrypted refresh token and your connected Gmail address so we can send messages you compose in Biiblo at a time you choose. This token is encrypted at rest, is only ever decrypted server-side at the moment of sending, and is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party, including for advertising. We do not use Gmail data to train AI or machine-learning models, general or otherwise. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings, which immediately deletes the stored token; sending then falls back to opening your own email app instead.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Features like AI lead scoring, website audits, and outreach message drafting send the relevant lead or business details you're working with to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a result. We don't send your Gmail contents or credentials to any AI provider — Gmail is used only for the plain send action described in Section 3.

• To provide, maintain, and improve Biiblo's features.
• To send outreach messages, generate AI drafts and scores, and run website audits you request.
• To process payments and manage your credits/subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account, changes to the service, or support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run Biiblo (e.g. Google Firebase for hosting/auth/database, OpenAI for AI features, our payment processor) — bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Other parties when you direct us to — e.g. sending an outreach email to a lead you've added, or sharing a public portfolio/contract link.
• Authorities, if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Biiblo, our users, or others.

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep it longer for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. Disconnecting Gmail deletes the stored token immediately.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for sensitive tokens, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your data.

• Access, correct, or export your data from your account settings.
• Delete leads, messages, or other business data at any time from within the app.
• Disconnect Gmail or revoke Biiblo's access at any time from Settings, or directly from your Google Account permissions page.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (see Section 12).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g. the Ghana Data Protection Act, GDPR, or CCPA) — contact us to exercise them.

Biiblo is intended for business use by adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States, where several of our service providers operate). We take steps to ensure it's protected wherever it's processed.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice.
